The Story Behind Argus IT Services
Formed in 1997 as Argus Connection, Argus has grown and expanded and is now Argus IT Services. Argus is centrally located in the DFW metroplex, and has a strong history of exceptional service delivered to World Class Clients across the US. From large enterprise corporations with solution needs national in scope to small and midsize clients that require a regionalized focus, our solutions, resources, and coverage models are scalable to each project.
Argus provides industry leading electronic hardware “lifecycle management”, including imaging and preparation of new systems, management of end of life systems, data destruction services, management of electronic waste or e-waste streams, asset repurposing targeting the “digital divide”, and information technology project services. We also specialize in IT staffing services with services ranging from Help Desk Personnel to Systems Programmers and Project Managers to Hardware Technicians and everything in-between.

Thomas Howard
CEO
Thomas is a former IBM Executive and CEO and Founder of T.E. Howard & Associates. He has over 35 years of corporate management experience with industry expertise across the Information Technology, Management Consulting, Utility, and Telecommunications industries. He’s managed mature business models as well as successfully launched new ones. In the mid 90’s, he founded and led one of IBM’s first management consulting and service organizations in the Southwest. He’s held various executive positions at IBM, including executive leader for IBM’s eBusiness sales operations and Innovation Center for the Southeast US. Thomas is a graduate of Marshall University and a board certified management consultant. He also has over 700 hours of post graduate Executive and Industry education at the Wharton School of Business, Harvard University, and Babson College.
Stanley Walter
President
Stanley Walter holds a BSME from Texas A&M, an MBA from University of Dallas with Highest Honors, and Professional Engineer license. In 1984 he began working at Texas Instruments in factory automation and progressed through Engineering Management to IT Asset Management/Corporate Strategy. In 1993 he moved into middle market companies progressing from General Manager to President. Stanley is currently President of Argus IT Services, an IT Life Cycle Management and Services Company supporting the IT process from delivery and installation of new assets to decommissioning and removal of legacy assets while managing data bearing media with secure, compliant processes.
