Health Care - Network Migration

The Challenge

A Health Care Customer needed a team of 11 to perform a 48 hour computer network migration.

The Results

Our Health Care client and their Joint Venture Partner were able to close their deal and start operating as partners Friday at Midnight – on time.

The Solution

An existing Health Care customer contacted Argus to inquire about a project that was high profile and a tight schedule. The go-live was just a few short weeks away. Machines were being migrated from the existing network onto the new network and had to be done without incident as the deadline was just 48 hours after the project start. Each location required Argus to be on-site to start the migration process.

Argus proceeded with a pilot of the process and quickly provided check lists and training materials to ensure successful migration of over 450 machines in 3 days. Locations ranged from south of the DFW Metroplex in Waxahachie and Midlothian to as far north as Plano and Frisco.

Wednesday morning, Argus’ Technicians traveled the Metroplex and performed an early migration with members of the migration team. This early conversion allowed dedicated computers to access the new network for testing and use prior to go-live on Friday morning.

At 5PM Thursday evening, Argus technicians converged at the largest location in Dallas to complete the units to be migrated and worked into the early hours of the morning.
