Bank Acquistion & Move

The Challenge

The Merger of two large Banks required a complex IT equipment move, setup, and support of the new joint location. Argus worked seamlessly with multiple client teams to plan, implement and support a successful move.

The Results

Argus provided a wide range of services to our client during this project that required quick and decisive responses. With Argus’s 17 years of experience in IT Staffing and Services, we were able to assist in planning and implementation and successfully completed the project on time.

The Solution

An Argus Banking customer requested that we provide planning and computer move services for an acquisition that required critical timing.

Argus worked with multiple project managers including the construction crew, the customer project manager, and the customer technical support staff. The preparation for the project was evident as each step of the project moved forward successfully.

A majority of the moves took place within the same building, either on the same floor or between floors. The other moves took special care, as computer equipment was moved to buildings across town – many of which were completed after hours. Each move had its own challenges including setting up each computer to print to new network printers and programs that once worked needed additional support to function again.

Argus provided the Desktop Support necessary to ensure all users were up and functional following the move project. The client requested help desk support for an additional 4 weeks after the move for troubleshooting desktop, printer, and network issues. Following the move and technical support, Argus was asked to provide Asset Management Services for the inventory of the remaining assets that were on-site and at the Argus Technology Center.
