Absolute Data Destruction
Our data destruction services offering is an "Argus Owned" end to end process including the actual physical shredding and destruction of your sensitive data media in our Technology Center. The "Wolf-A-Nator" (shown below) is a high volume capacity rotary grinder capable of handling anything from tapes, disks and drives to whole units.
Our data shredding process provides Maximum Security for your Confidential Data and provides you with destruction certificates for assistance in complying with Sarbanes-Oxley Act / Gramm-Leach-Biley Act / Bank Secrecy Act / HIPAA / Identity Theft and Assumption Deterrence Act and other information regulatory acts and environmental laws.

Rigorous Chain of Custody Process
Argus will tailor shipment security to meet your requirements. Examples of typical solutions currently used by our clients are:
| Level 1 – You ship us your PCs and/or Hard Drives or other data media using your current carriers or arrange for Argus to provide our standard equipment recovery services. Once we receive the equipment the hard drives will be physically shredded and disposal certificates issued for the shipment lot. Level 2 – To assure a higher level of security for your data we can provide point to point shipment of your disposal equipment to the Argus Technology Center for Hard Drive shredding, data destruction and proper disposal of all your technology assets. Level 3 - Utilize our “Secure Data Containers” with combination locks and serialized seals for your storage media, this combined with the point to point shipment and your data will receive the maximum protection during shipment. |
For asset tracking, serial numbers of all equipment can be scanned and made available on our online web based asset management system.
All disposal material is processed in an environmentally friendly manner
in compliance with all local, state and federal regulations.
